1. Purpose
These Terms govern your use of the PDFHub mobile application (the "App") provided by the PDFHub team (the "Operator"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
- Viewing and searching PDFs and other documents; annotating (ink, highlight, text, stamps, signatures); page editing
- Scanning documents with the camera, converting them to PDF, and on-device text recognition (OCR)
- Document processing (viewing, annotating, scanning, recognition) happens on your device. The Operator does not collect or store your documents.
3. Free use and advertising
The App's core features are free. While using the App for free, advertisements may be shown. Some features may be limited in usage or available only with a paid subscription (PDFHub Pro).
4. Subscriptions (PDFHub Pro)
- Plans: an annual subscription (with a 7-day free trial) and a weekly subscription. Prices and conditions are shown on the purchase screen.
- Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. Free trials convert to a paid subscription when the trial ends.
- Cancellation — to avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or trial) in the Google Play or App Store subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Payments and refunds — payments are processed by Google Play / the App Store, and refunds follow each store's refund policy and applicable law.
- Subscription benefits and prices may change with prior notice; changes apply from the next renewal.
5. Your content and responsibilities
- You retain all rights to, and responsibility for, the documents, scans, and annotations you use in the App.
- Because documents are stored only on your device, you are responsible for backups against device change, loss, or App deletion.
- Using the App with content that infringes others' rights, or for unlawful purposes, is prohibited.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Reverse engineering, unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, or commercial resale of the App
- Manipulating the advertising or subscription systems through abnormal means
- Any other conduct that violates applicable law or these Terms
7. Intellectual property
All rights in the App and its components (design, logos, software) belong to the Operator or their rightful owners. Rights in your documents remain yours.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
- The App is provided "as is". The Operator does not warrant that the App will work perfectly with every document format or device.
- The Operator is not liable for loss of or damage to your documents except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Please keep separate copies of important documents.
- This section applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
9. Changes to or discontinuation of the Service
The Operator may change or discontinue parts of the Service. Material changes adverse to paid users will be announced in advance.
10. Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change, the updated version and its effective date will be posted on this page, and material changes will additionally be announced in the App. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. This does not deprive you of protections granted by mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence.
